A night with the Indians

Gotta love these job perks...yesterday we left work at 1pm to go up to the Inidans game for Farmers Day with the Indians. I can't decide which is cooler though - getting to drink while on company time or walking Jacobs field! I'm gonna say my counterparts are going with DRINKING!!!! All in all though it was awesome and we really had a blast. I seriously LOVE my job!

Back from CKU Detroit - so much to tell so I'll say it in pictures...

didn't buy a new bag today but...

did buy a new car - or even better - two new cars! Mike and I both got new cars today...are we crazy or what???

Mike got a grey 2007 VW Passat and I got a black 2007 VW Jetta - we are just beyond thrilled. We are leasing them for 3 years and actually got some great deals! Leasing works awesome for us because we are both new car junkies - always wanting a new car so this way we can just turn these in and get brand new cars again.

The best part on mine is that the monthly payment on my new car is less (and not by $1 or two) than the Santa Fe I was driving so that was a total score! Mike is as happy as clam because he has been really - really wishing for a new car - and really wanted a larger more luxury car so today his wish came true!

for a great new bag! Right now I'm coveting the pink quilted Chanel bag but at a ticket price of $1750 (yes blog readers - you read that right - one thousand seven hundred and fifty dollars) it's just not in the cards right now. Carrying that bag while wearing clothes and shoes from Target just shows how stylin I am - a girl that doesn't give a shit about her shoes and clothes but LOVES her bags!!!

I'm already in the mood for a new bag but I'm gonna try to hold off - I bought a new Coach about 2 months ago and I just got a Chloe bag from my girl Whit so I definitely need to hold off!

This is a girl who loves her designer bags (Burberry, Kate Spade, Coach, Prada, Chanel...) and won't carry anything else. I believe that every girl deserves to own at least one designer bag in her life!!! And trust me I can tell when your bag is fake...don't try to pull that off - you just look dumb. Especially when walking through Coach carrying your fake Coach bag - thinking your fooling everyone - trust me - your not!

our new floors...

of course these pictures do it no justice but here are a few pictures of our new floors and the new color in the dining room. The floors came out just fantastic - I mean truly they look like brand new floors. The boys did such a great job that Mike and I are wondering what took us so long!!! Unfortunately we did not do eli's bedroom or my scrapbook room so now those look extra gross but since these came out so great we plan to have those done within the next few months. And it was expensive but extremely worth it! Hope you can see some change from these pictures!

a week in my life...

Started working on my week in the life for my ali edwards class at cku (could I have put it off any farther - we leave for this trip on April 18th - Yikes!!!) Not only am I working on this project but also am trying to work on our dorm stuff. Mike and I are planning on working on the magazine cover this weekend so we can get that printed early this week. Also have to send a picture off to kelly to represent "pink spice" and am thinking of taking a cute picture with a pink feather boa on to represent me! It's such a bummer though because I'm home sick with eli today

and could really be working on stuff for our doom but with the floors being refinished I can't even get into my scrapbook room since it is completely full of furniture! Enjoy these couple of pictures from Day 1!
